Last week, 147 students were killed in a terrorist attack at Garissa University in Kenya. Christians were specifically targeted. A vigil was held to mourn the victims, and organizers of the vigil are asking that people raise awareness of this event by using the hashtag #147notjustanumber.

Our prayers are with the families, students, and community members who lost loved ones in this act of evil. We especially remember our students who call Kenya home during this time of crisis. We pray that God would be with bereaved, and that the Holy Spirit’s healing power would be upon them.
