Join us in two weeks, on May 4 and 5, for the annual Paul T. Walls Lecture in Wesleyan Theology, exploring the place of spiritual perception in Wesley’s understanding of how one comes to embrace the Christian faith. The first lecture on Wednesday, May 4 will feature Dr. Robert Wall and Dr. Cara Wall-Scheffler, discussing the concept of evolution and biology as it relates to the Bible and New Creation. The following day on Thursday, May 5 will feature Dr. Terence Fretheim and Dr. Randy Maddox, who will facilitate a dialogue on faith and science. Both of these events are free, at First Free Methodist Church, at 7 p.m., and require no RSVP. For more information: spu.edu/wallslecture
