Last Tuesday, students and faculty bid farewell to Professor Jack Levison, as he prepares to assume his new position at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. As he reflected on his time at SPU, Jack said of his students:
“The students keep me young. In a way you are teaching the same thing over and over again, but each student has a unique story and it’s the stories that keep you going. I’ve also learned how wonderful it is when the classroom bleeds over into real life. I love when my students learn by bringing something from their experience to the classroom and something from the classroom to their experience.”
Thank you, Jack, for all that you have done for our community at SPU, and we are praying for you and your family as you begin the next adventure!
